Auburn Ny Historic District Web-GIS Project
In 2006, the City of Auburn NY received Local Government Records Management
Improvement Grant Funds from the NY State Archives & Records Administration.
This grant project involved creating a database with records for the
historic district area of Auburn NY. The database would be designed
for accessibility via the Internet and match historical research, records
and photo images to their related physical location. Recent and historical
maps and aerial orthophotos would be linked to the records via a Geographic
Information System. In addition, the website will allow users to share
information and items about the Auburn NY historic district from private
collections.
